Last night (May 26), Monster and Beats by Dr. Dre launched the nationwide availability of Diddybeats, the in-ear headphones that are sold exclusively at Best Buy and Best Buy Mobile. The co-founders of Beats by Dr. Dre, West Coast trailblazer Dr. Dre and Interscope/Geffen A&M Chairman, Jimmy Iovine, welcomed entrepreneur and fashion maverick Sean “Diddy” Combs into their family, in more ways than one.

“Dre and I wanted to design an earbud that was a combination of great style and powerful sound,” said Jimmy Iovine. “Diddy was the perfect choice for this because he’s a pioneer in marrying music with fashion.”

R&B singer Ashanti recently joined Dr. Dre and Game for a studio session in Los Angeles.

It took supermodels in lingerie to bring Jay-Z and Dr. Dre together at the 2009 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show at The Armory in New York City on Thursday (Nov. 19). The annual show airs December 1 at 10 p.m. EST on CBS.

Monster and Dr. Dre are back with a new set of headphones for audiophiles called the Beats by Dr. Dre Beats Solo. The headphones will launch in November 2009 in black or white versions.
